Saturday, Dec. 5th: FRIENDS of INTERNATIONALS 'Progressive Dinner'
This has become an annual tradition at CBC, inviting international students at various local colleges to attend a Christmas Dinner with "FOI" families & friends, progressing through a series of hom,e locations for the entirety of the dinner. *(Please stay tuned for details)

The WAY Teen Fall Fellowship Wednesday Nights at 7:00pm!
We began our TEEN youth group meetings for Fall on Wednesday Sept. 9th. We begin each week promptly at 7:00pm.
Bryan & Kaley Auton head up our teen ministry seeking to encourage, challenge, and lead a time of praise and
sharing, and enjoying one another's fellowship in a new school year. CBC Teens - Please invite your friends!

Women's Bible Study begins Monday, Oct. 5th 7:00pm
Linda Caballero will be leading a new and exciting study on the Book of Esther, based on Beth Moore's materials.
The class will begin on September 21st, meeting every other Monday night at CBC in the fellowship hall. There is a
break during December and early January, and we plan to finish the study sometime mid Feb. We have run out of study
guides, but will be making one more run to Life Way Books for anyone who pays ahead by Sat. Sept 11. *(The cost of
the book is $15.00). *For more info please see Barb Pieters.

Men's Bible Study Monday nights alternating with the Women's Bible Study 7:00pm.
Men, join us on every other Monday night as we delve deeper into our Wednesday night fellowship based on the
Letter to the Galatains, seeking to know and embrace the grace of God in a more practical and meaningful manner
in our lives. If we understand the grace of God in our lives, it liberates and frees us to be who we are meant to be in
Christ, not religious, or man-invented caricatures that the world sees . The grace of God in Christ Jesus alone both
saves and frees us from the life of sin and church-based legaliams so prevalent today! Come out and see how.

WHEREABOUTS: CBC High School Graduates & Collegians 2005 - 2009

David Carr: graduated from Kennesaw State University in Dec. 2007! David played guitar and bass on our CBC Worship Team for the last several years. David moved to Colorado in January of 2008. We miss his musical contributions very much on Sunday mornings. *(Please keep David in your prayers as he seeks a new life out West and a new fellowship of believers).

Lara Carr: received her Master's Degree from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ., in the Spring of 2006. Lara works full-time @ Starbucks and teaches part time. She moved back to Acworth in Sept. 2007, and shares her musical and voice talents with the CBC praise team. *CONGRATS to Lara on her Marriage to Levi Morris, son of Gary & Kathy Morris on October 30th, 2009 @ CBC!

Jason Carver: is currently training with the GA National Guard in south Georgia. Please keep him & his brother Seth in your prayers.

Mark Carver: after successfully completing his degree from Toccoa Falls College, Mark is now in China, arriving in August of 2005. Mark is working with "UCE," in an educational capacity as a teacher in collegiate level English. Please pray that God will surround Mark with His grace, provide protection, & lead him in the way he should go while there. - *CONGRATS to Mark on his marriage in China earlier this year!

Seth Carver: is now training with the GA National Guard with his brother Jason in South Georgia. Please keep Seth and his brother in your prayers.

Austin Eskew: after graduating in 2005 from Home-Schooling. In 2009 Austin enrolled in the US Army. ALERT: Austin left for his basic training on April 14th. *Please keep Austin in your prayers as he trains to become a US Soldier.

Derek Eskew: is working full-time for Atlanta Tile & Marble, planning to make it his career.

Hannah Griffith: graduated from North Cobb Christian School in May 2006. Hannah is now a Senior @ Kennesaw State University. *CONGRATS to Hannah on her upcoming marriage in August 2009!

Zachariah Griffith: graduated from North Cobb Christian School in 2008, with Baseball Honors as "All Region" for last 3 years, and "All State" the last 2 years. Zach is now a freshman @ Kennesaw State University Fall 2008 and playing on the KSU Owls Baseball Team.

Josiah Hutchison: graduated from North Cobb Christian School in May 2006, and is now in his junior year @ Kennesaw State University, (making the Dean's List Spring 2008). His major is Psychology. Josiah currently works PT at Subway in Kennesaw, and plays the drums on our CBC Worship team. ALERT: Josiah has been accepted to study at Vaxjo University in Sweden for the Spring 2009 Semester. He will be leaving mid-January and returning in June! *Josiah returned home from Sweden in June and will be back at KSU for Fall 2009 Senior Year.

Andrew Menear: graduated from Fellowship Christian School, May 2009 w/Honors. Andrew was the school mascot. He will be attending SPSU and living on campus in the Fall.

Daniel Menear: Graduated from Fellowship Christian School in May 2006. Daniel is living on campus at Georgia Tech, and is now in his junior year, (making the Dean's List the last 3 Semesters!). He is majoring in International Affairs (INTA). ALERT: Daniel has been accepted to study @ the National University of Singapore for Spring 2009 Semester! He will be leaving Jan 4th, 2009 and returning home in late May.*Daniel returned from Singapore in May, having spent some of his time traveling to some great places while also studying at National University. He will be back at GA Tech for Fall 2009 Senior Year.

Rebekah Menear: graduated from Samford University in 2005 with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Spanish. Rebekah is now enrolled in the Surgical Physician's Assistant Masters Degree program at The University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). She is currenting doing her Hospital internship.*CONGRATS to Rebekah & Ben Posey, Wed on Dec. 27, 2008 in Birmingham!

Richard Menear: (Fellowship Christian High School Class of 2003) graduated from Asbury College in Wilmore, KY., in May 2007, majoring in Biology, and playing on the Asbury soccer team. Richard had the honor and life-changing experience of spending 5 weeks during the summer of 2007 teaching English at an orphanage in Tibet! Richard is now back home in Atlanta & attending Georgia State University for post graduate degree in Nursing.

Georgio Walker: gradutaed from Marietta High School May 2008. *CONGRATS Georgio!

Chad Willman: graduated from North Cobb Christian School in May 2007. *CONGRATS to Chad for winning the "Christian Character" Award on the baseball team. Chad has now joined his brother Todd at Highlands College in Cartersville.

Kaley Willman Auton: CONGRATS to Kaley upon her Graduation from Kennesaw State University, May 2009. majoring in Business Management. She married Bryan Auton here at CBC in March 2008. Kaley and husband Bryan serve the church body through their leading of 'The Way' Youth group here at Community. ALERT: Congratulations to Brayn & Kaley on the birth of their first child, daughter "Bryley Faith Auton" born on May 29th, 2009!

Kameron Willman: Kameron Willman: graduated Salutatorian in May 2008 from North Cobb Christian School. As a Senior, Kameron was recognized as the "AJC Most All-Around Senior." Kameron is entering his sophmore year at the University of Georgia Fall 2009.

Todd Willman: after graduating from Kennesaw Mountain High School in 2005, Todd is currently working as a contract surveyor, and enrolled at Georgia Highlands College in Cartersville. *CONGRATS to Todd on his marriage to Lauren Startt on June 2, 2007 @ CBC!
