CBC Pastoral Staff


Jerry Willman has served as our full-time Pastor-Teacher since May of 1972, when his family, along with five other families, founded Community Bible Church. Jerry was an aerospace engineer with the Lockheed-Georgia Company prior to attending Dallas Theological Seminary. The primary focus of Jerry's ministry at CBC is heading up the teaching ministries and Church-Based Leadership Training. Jerry is one of a team of four elders who guide and maintain our focus at CBC. Jerry, his wife Maxine, their three grown children and spouses, and all of their grandchildren live in Acworth and Kennesaw, Georgia.



Roger Carr joined the ministry of CBC in 1985, and has served as an elder since December, 1991. He is chief engineer at the Crane Company in Marietta. The primary focus of Roger's ministry at CBC is domestic and foreign missions. He is our primary liason with Guatemala and South American churches. Roger, his wife Betty, their youngest daughter live in Acworth, Georgia. His oldest son, wife, and grand daughter live in Woodstock, Georgia and attend CBC. Their second son now lives in Colorado. Their oldest daughter lives in Atlanta; and their middle daughter recently married and lives in Marietta.   


Dave Wolf  joined the ministry of CBC in the late 1970's, and has served as an elder since May, 1993. Dave works as a Veterinarian in Smyrna, Georgia. The primary focus of Dave's ministry at CBC is pastoral care and visitor outreach. Dave and his wife Terry live in Marietta, Georgia. He has three grown sons, two of which attend CBC. His oldest son, wife, and three grandchildren live in Fairmount, Georgia. His middle son, wife, and three grandchildren live in Canton, Georgia. His youngest son, recently married, now lives in California.

Pat Pieters  joined the ministry of CBC in 1989, and has served as an elder since February, 1997. Pat is now retired from his position as Learning Consultant at IBM, and has started his new business as an independent Learning Consultant with Pieters Consulting, Inc., Pat helps with our various teaching ministries at CBC, but his primary focus is in the area of Evangelism. He is our Team Leader in our mission work with churches in Romania and Liberia. Pat and his wife Barbara live in Marietta, Georgia. His oldest daughter and husband, along with three grandchildren live in Amarillo, Texas. His second daugher, her husband, along with two grandchildren live in Alpharetta, Georgia.
