Monday, March 23rd: Bulloch Hall Field Trip
The Piecemakers will meet @ Bulloch Hall for their Annual Field to Roswell. Everyone is invited, whether you come to our monthly Piecemaker meetings or not. *Please email Nancy Hutchison: nancyrn57@earthlink.net for more info.
January through April 2009 we will be concentrating on "BACK to BASICS" beginning with a "Quiltmaking by Hand," class, open to anyone interested, whether you attend CBC or not. *Please RSVP to Nancy Hutchison @ (770) 974-3142
The Quiltmaking By Hand class will take place from 10:00am - 11:00am during our monthly meetings (2nd Monday). The Piecemakers not taking the class will still meet our usual time, from 10:00am - 1:00pm.
*Bring a sack lunch & enjoy the time with fellow quilters. And don't forget our monthly "Show & Tell!"

The Piecemakers Ministry

The Piecemakers are comprised of a small group of women who focus on the joy of quilting and sharing that joy with those they make quilts for. Our members come together to work on group projects for charities, as well as personal needs within our church family, to learn new skills, and to fellowship with other quilters. CBC membership is not required. At this time we enjoy having several ladies from the area to join us. A charity is chosen each year to make quilts to donate.
*Past recipients of our quilts have included:
Nursing homes; Newborns; Ronald McDonald House; Cobb Street Ministry; Hurricane Katrina relocators; The Atlanta School for the Blind, and as personal gifts to those within our church family.
We welcome quilters and those women wishing to learn how to join us for our monthly 'stitch-in.' No experience needed!
